A 15-YEAR-OLD boy is behind bars after police allegedly found a group of teenagers hiding inside a home as they investigated overnight property crime.

The teenager, who cannot be named for legal reasons, fronted Tamworth Children's Court on Monday after he had seven charges levelled against him.
Court documents show the bail conditions he was on were revoked.
The teenager faces allegations of driving a stolen car, driving dangerously, disposing of a car, being carried in a stolen car, having goods suspected of being stolen and receiving stolen property.
He was also charged with break, enter and steal.
The matter was adjourned to next week.
Oxley police were called to respond to a spree of property crime reports in the early hours on Monday.

Police allege a white Nissan ute and a Volkswagen Golf were stolen when two homes were broken into on Ibis Street in Calala, just after midnight that morning.
A short time later, officers said they spotted several people jumping into the Volkswagen after police found the white Nissan ute dumped on William Street in West Tamworth.
The Volkswagen was allegedly driven off and police gave chase, but the pursuit was called off due to safety concerns.
Oxley police officers homed in on a Tamworth house as part of their investigations and said they found four teenagers hiding inside about 1:30am.
The 15-year-old boy was arrested along with another 15-year-old, a 13-year-old and a 17-year-old.
All four fronted children's court on Monday.
