This unique festival will be held at the Gunning Showground on Saturday September 8. It’s the only place where you can experience a display of fireworks second only to Sydney’s New Year’s Eve, with over one hour of fireworks demonstrations. This year there will be an area for local artists to sell hand-made items, and also a mixture of homewares and gift ideas. If you have a range of unusual or unique items for sale, contact the organisers to book a stand.  There’s somewhere new in Gunning to take your toddlers, where they can develop social, musical and listening skills, plus have lots of fun. Gunning Library is trying out a new program especially designed for children up to two and a half years of age, with their parents or carers. Wiggle and Giggle is a 30 minute session of stories, dance and singing on second and fourth Fridays of the month, on trial during July and August.
