Rose Leggett, 30, and Jessica Louise Bruyn, 26, remain behind bars and had their cases called in Tamworth Local Court last week.
Solicitor Rayshele Martin from the state prosecuting authority, the DPP, told the court chambers were considering the charges but had not yet decided which allegations to confirm.
She asked magistrate Julie Soars to adjourn the cases for three weeks.
Aboriginal Legal Service defence solicitor Susanna Gidlow appeared via video link for Leggett and said she had no objection to the matter being listed again in mid-September.

Ms Soars granted the adjournment.
"Bail not applied for, refused," she said.
Solicitor Rasha Shammas appeared virtually when Bruyn's case was called.
Ms Shammas said she had anticipated the request and did not oppose it.
She indicated Bruyn may make an application to be released from custody on bail on the next occasion.
"You're on notice Ms Martin," Ms Soars said.
The pair were arrested by police on May 5 after an alleged armed robbery about 2:30am the previous morning.
Police claim two women travelled to an Oxley Vale location with a 26-year-old man before they entered a home and turned on the man.
The police case is that the women were armed with a knife and a syringe when they stole the man's Toyota Corolla as well as a phone, wallet and hearing aids before fleeing the scene.
Leggett and Bruyn are both charged with robbery armed with an offensive weapon; and aggravated take and drive a motor vehicle with a person in it or on it, while armed.
Leggett is facing additional charges of custody of a knife in a public place; and possess a prohibited drug.
Bruyn was charged with refusing or failing to submit to a breath test.
No pleas have been entered.
