Police claim the 26-year-old and a 58-year-old are both members of the Gladiators outlaw motorcycle group (OMCG) and turned on a man in the Railway Hotel on Barber Street in Gunnedah.
A 29-year-old was attacked by four men about 11.30pm on February 27.
Police claim he was punched and kicked and left with facial injuries, which required treatment at Gunnedah hospital.

Oxley police were alerted to security surveillance footage of several suspects in the hotel, and have spoken to witnesses. Now, they hope the public might be able to identify five men.
Officers moved on a 26-year-old man last Friday, arresting him at a Boggabri business about 1.30pm. Less than 24 hours later, a 58-year-old was arrested at Gunnedah Police Station.
Both are facing charges of affray and assault occasioning actual bodily harm in company, and have been bailed to appear in Gunnedah Local Court next month.
"This assault was OMCG-related and we have no tolerance for gangs or any gang activity whatsoever," Oxley Detective Acting Inspector Jason Darcy told the Leader.
The hotel was packed for the regular Saturday night trade, and Detective Darcy said more patrons would have seen what happened, and urged them to come forward.
Detective Darcy said several raids and firearm prohibition orders had been served on OMCG members or their associates during operations in the last 12 months in a bid to "stamp out" gang members and their activities.
"Oxley police won't tolerate anti-social behaviour in local pubs or clubs, and we especially won't tolerate violence such as this," he said.
"These gangs are not welcome anywhere across the Oxley Police District; we'll continue to use all the resources we have to drive them out of town and out of the police district, and if they are here they'll face the full force of the law if they step out of line."
Anyone with information on the men, or who saw the bashing, is urged to contact Oxley police on 6768 2999.
Four of the men who police want to question are described as being Caucasian in appearance, aged 25 to 35, while the fifth is described as being 55 to 65 years old and of Caucasian appearance.
