It's a big call for the state's second-oldest regional gallery which regularly curates calendar years crammed with culture.
But this year, which marks its 100th birthday, it's pretty big.

It started with an Archibald Prize showcase and now the final preparations are being made for The View From 1919, an exhibition dedicated to the centenary and the art of the era.
The exhibit will feature a piece of live "salon theatre" performed on June 1 looking at the people of Tamworth in 1919 and John Salvana's crucial decision to donate more than 100 artworks and books to the city to establish the "Tamworth Art Salon and Art Library".
There will be a performance at 2.30pm and another at 7.30pm on Saturday, June 1.
The exhibition runs from June 1 to July 28.
