A woman has been flown to Tamworth hospital with serious injuries after a truck and car collided on Monday afternoon.

The woman, who is believed to be aged in her 40s, suffered multiple injuries when the two vehicles collided on the Newell Highway at Bohena Creek, just out of Narrabri.
The crash happened about 1.30pm and the woman was trapped "for some time", NSW Ambulance said.
Rescue crews including paramedics and Fire and Rescue NSW personnel worked to free the woman from the wreckage.
She suffered multiple serious injuries and was treated on scene.
The Westpac Rescue Helicopter was tasked to the scene with a doctor and paramedic on board.
The woman was stabilised and flown to Tamworth hospital for emergency treatment.
She was listed in a stable condition.
The highway remains closed while emergency services investigate the cause of the crash, and clear the scene.
Police are investigating and a report will now be prepared for the coroner.

The Newell Highway is closed south of Narrabri while emergency services work at the scene.
One person has died at the scene and paramedics are treating a second patient for injuries suffered in the crash.
The Newell Highway is closed between Narrabri and Coonabarabran, authorities said.

Transport for NSW said the road is expected to remain closed for some time while emergency services investigate the crash.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area with diversions now in place.
The spokesperson said motorists can use the Kamilaroi Highway and the Oxley Highway via Gunnedah instead, and are advised to allow extra travel time.
