Nundle Business Tourism and Marketing Group President Megan Trousdale said the town will be so full during Easter, there was little reason to hold another event.
"There's already so much happening,"
"Because the country music festival is on after Easter and there are gigs happening at the DAG and the Peel Inn, there's really so much going on already.
"Really autumn is such a really great time in Nundle. Easter will look after itself this year!"

The group - which has taken over from a sacked council committee - is set to next meet in May.
Ms Trousdale said they would discuss holding an alternative event on a permanent basis.
"We did discuss, as a committee [at our last meeting] whether we would actually look at creating a totally new event later in the year," she said.
"To remove it from Easter altogether.
"That is very much early discussions and will be worked through at our May meeting."
Developing the new event is still at extremely early stages.
Go for Gold, a famous Chinese Easter festival, honoured the history of the old gold mining town.
It was one of the region's biggest draws, attracting over 10,000 people in 2019, the last time it was run
There was also no event held in 2021.
The event's committee was sacked by Tamworth Regional Council in January.
The reason given for the disbandment was that the group was only able to fill two slots of a four-person executive.
