The 'Greater Vibes' initiative run by Greater Bank saw it partner with cafes right across the region last week to provide free coffee to customers.
In Tamworth, participating venue Ruby's Cafe received $350 - the equivalent of 70 free coffees - to hand out on Saturday.
The cafe's new owner Kellie O'Callaghan said it was "lovely support" for a business just starting.
"I'm a customer of the Greater Bank and they were choosing a local cafe and chose us which was so lovely," she said.
"We gave all of the 70 free coffees away and hopefully people passed that on and paid it forward."

Greater Bank's Tamworth branch manager Dwayne Marshall said with many people doing it tough in the community right now, they wanted to spread some positivity.
"It was an initiative the Greater came up with because of COVID, trying to do something positive in the community," he said.
"We ran it across just about every branch and every branch nominated a cafe, and we contributed 70 coffees, $5 a coffee, $350 per cafe.
"We tried to get cafes which were our local customers to give them a boost."
He said the idea was to help spread good vibes around the community, with the bank also giving away free stickers with the words 'greater vibes' written on them.
"We told our customers to enjoy a coffee on the Greater Bank and hopefully they paid it forward to someone else," he said.
