Police swooped on the Tamworth men late on Wednesday at the fast food restaurant off Ringers Road in South Tamworth.
It came after investigations into the violent home invasion in Morilla Street earlier that day.
Police allege the men, aged 32 and 26, stormed the home about 3.30pm and assaulted the 33-year-old man and his partner, a 37-year-old woman, who were inside at the time. They allegedly demanded money and then fled.

Oxley Detective Acting Inspector Jason Darcy told the Leader the home invasion was bikie gang-related.
"Police will allege these two persons are linked to an outlaw motorcycle gang (OMCG) in Tamworth," he said.
"This was OMCG-related; this was not random, it was a targeted assault."

The man and woman received medical treatment, police said, but they weren't taken to hospital.
"After investigations by police, a short time later officers arrested two Tamworth men at a South Tamworth restaurant," Detective Darcy said.
"They were taken to Tamworth Police Station and charged with aggravated enter dwelling with intent to commit a serious indictable offence, namely assault."
Both the men have been granted conditional bail to front Tamworth Local Court in May.
The 32-year-old is also facing two charges of common assault.
Detective Darcy said Strike Force Raptor - the force's dedicated anti-gangs' squad - had been deployed to the city on numerous occasions, and police won't let up on targeting known OMCG members and associates.
"This sort of offending shows the total disregard these groups and gangs have for community safety and the law," he said.
"Police will continue to use every available resource to stamp out this behaviour and drive these gangs out of the Oxley Police District, and we would urge the community to work with us to target these people."
He said several men remain before the courts in Tamworth and Gunnedah with charges connected to alleged gang-related incidents.
