The 2021 Tamworth Regional Heritage Festival has over 30 events which will connect you with the heritage of the region.
The Heritage Festival will run from Thursday April 22 to Monday May 3 and showcase a wide range of events, guided tours and demonstrations connecting us with our past.
The theme for 2021 is 'Our heritage for our future'.

The festival begins on Thursday night with 'Stories Under The Stars', featuring Len Waters and will include projections by regional artists inspired by the night skies.
Stories Under The Stars will be at the Tamworth Botanic Gardens from 7pm to 8pm and include a sneak peek at the new Tamworth Regional Astronomy Centre from 5:30pm.
Other notable events include a behind the scenes tour of the Calala Cottage Museum, tales of Innkeepers, Publicans and Sly Grog Sellers at The Spread Eagle Hotel and stories of murder and ghosts at the Australian Arms Hotel in Moore Creek.
Other events include guided tours and demonstrations at the Powerstation Museum, Wombramurra Museum and Homestead Gardens, Manilla Heritage and Rural Museums, walking tour of Tamworth CBD, Tamworth Regional Gallery and Nundle Woollen Mill plus many more.
The Tamworth festival will conclude with a webinar at the Tamworth Library which features Tamworth records from NSW State Archives collection.
Covering a range of things including the old Capitol Theatre, constructed in the 1920's and controversially demolished in the 1980's.
