POLICE claim to have had a major win in their ongoing war on break-ins after two more arrests in Tamworth on Friday morning.

The men, aged in their 20s and 30s, were arrested in an early morning police operation on Friday in Coledale.
The dramatic arrest saw officers from the Proactive Crime Team, the dog squad, the High-Risk Domestic Violence Team and general duties police swarm the area.
On Friday night, the pair remained in custody at Tamworth Police Station.
"Police were deployed to the West Tamworth area after information from the public and located the target in Cossa Street, before the second target was apprehended in Quinn Street," Oxley Detective Acting Inspector Jason Darcy told the Leader.

Both men were refused bail to front an out-of-sessions bail hearing in Tamworth Local Court.
"This is two of a number of significant arrests for property and break-and-enter offences as part of Operation Southbreak this week," Detective Darcy said.
"These arrests have been the culmination of witness statements, CCTV, forensic evidence, and other investigations."
Earlier this week, the same team of police were patrolling for break-ins when they uncovered $143,000 worth of ice and more than $70,000 in cash in Tamworth.
The officers made the discovered after a suspicious car that was pulled over in Aberdeen Street late on Monday night. Four people were charged.
On Monday, 18-year-old Blake Stanton was refused bail, accused of aggravated break-and-enter and stolen car charges stemming from offences in Hillvue and East Tamworth.
A 14-year-old was taken into juvenile detention after he was refused bail in Tamworth, accused of North Tamworth break-in offences.
"Oxley police have been working around the clock to drive down property crime and apprehend those behind the latest spate of offending," Detective Darcy said.
"These arrests are testament to that work and police will continue to investigate those behind property crime, but I would appeal to the public to help us, and report that suspicious activity and the people behind it.
"We have information to suggest there is a further group working from the West Tamworth area who are behind some of the latest offending and we appeal to the public to remain vigilant and help us to put a stop to them."
