Kyra Maynard has been in custody since the March 8 crash last year that claimed the life of a 20-year-old expectant woman in Inverell.
The accused appeared via video link in Inverell Local Court, where magistrate Holly Kemp committed her for sentence on a lone charge of manslaughter.
It had been the police case that Maynard was behind the wheel of the car on the night of the deadly crash that killed a woman and her unborn baby.

She was refused bail by Ms Kemp, and will remain in custody ahead of sentencing.
Her case will now be mentioned at an arraignment in the district court in May where she will formally enter pleas.
Related offences to be dealt with at sentencing include driving while never licensed; using a vehicle with non-compliant tyres; using an unregistered vehicle; using an uninsured vehicle; using a vehicle without paying tax; driving with an unrestrained passenger; and two counts of possessing drugs.
During the proceedings the DPP withdrew a long list of charges against Maynard. They included offences of dangerous driving occasioning death by driving in a manner dangerous; negligent driving occasioning death; dangerous driving occasioning death while driving under the influence; aggravated dangerous driving causing death while speeding more than 45km over the limit; taking part in the supply of more than an indictable quantity of drugs; exceeding the speed limit by more than 30km; and conducting a burnout.
Maynard was charged in the wake of the late-night crash on Warialda Road after an investigation by the Crash Investigation Unit. She was injured in the crash and a 20-year-old pregnant passenger died en route to hospital.
Crash investigators from Tamworth allege Maynard was unlicensed when she got behind the wheel of a Holden Commodore just before 10.30pm on March 8, 2020.
Police said the Commodore lost control on Warialda Road, and collided with a Mazda Bravo before it struck a powerpole.
