The 50s will then get their chance to play on Sunday, November 22.
There will be a three-day carnival in Tamworth with 10 teams competing from around NSW.
One of the 10 teams will be a Barbarians outfit made up of players from all over the shop.
A few up-and-comers will be included in the side as well.
"We're blooding some 47, 48, 49-year-olds to help us out," Kellett said.
"It will give them a taste of what 50s is like and what the standard is like."
