The first buns came out of the oven on Thursday, and the annual Pink Bun campaign will run until October 28.
Locals can pop by Bakers Delight stores to donate cash, write a message on the 'pink ladies', or treat themselves to a pack of tasty pink 'fun buns'.
All of the funds raised end up with Breast Cancer Network Australia (BCNA).

"My sister is a breast cancer survivor, so I think anything you can do to support cancer research is great," she said.
The bakery's partnership with BCNA is marking 20 years this year, and all money raised will go towards supporting and informing people who have been diagnosed with breast cancer.
As the world navigates the COVID-19 pandemic, there is also an opportunity to buy a virtual pink bun online during this campaign, and send a message of support to family and friends.
