A 15-year-old boy has been charged by Oxley Police officers as part of an ongoing investigation into a string of break and enters across the Tamworth region.

Police made the arrest about 3.15pm on Thursday, after officers stopped a vehicle on the New England Highway at Bendemeer.
A passenger in the vehicle was identified by officers to be a 15-year-old boy with six outstanding arrest warrants and a revocation of parole warrant.

The teenager was then arrested and taken to Tamworth Police Station where the warrants were executed for the offences of aggravated break and enter, seven counts of commit serious indictable offence and three counts of enter building with intent to commit indictable offence.
The 15-year-old was also charged with two counts of larceny, aggravated break and enter in company, aggravated break and enter with intent to commit indictable offence, enter inclosed land without lawful excuse, and take and drive conveyance without consent of owner.
Police will allege in court, the teen was involved in a string of break-ins across Tamworth in February.
The arrest comes after the Oxley Police District established Operation Southbreak to investigate break-ins and vehicle thefts in the Tamworth region.
He was refused bail to appear at a children's court on Friday.
