Parent Richard Nicholls, father of Lilly and Angus, also gave a moving speech.
"Quirindi High has been a great school for our kids. On top of their academic education the opportunities that have been offered to Angus and Lilly as well as all other students over the years have been both fantastic and diverse," Mr Nicholls said.
"One person in particular has had a profound effect on the class of 2019 and has played a major part throughout their schooling following them from year 7... through to their year 12 Formal tonight ... I am of course talking about Mr Packer or Pacman or PacCar as I've heard him called.
"To the class of 2019, congratulations, you guys have done it, got to the end, persevered and risen to the challenge ... school is over, you now move onto another chapter in your life.
"If you can practice the core concepts of resilience, kindness, protection, consideration, passion and happiness, coupled with your well-rounded education from Quirindi High School, you will do well."
The Jimmy Craz band from Tamworth then entertained the crowds and opened up the dance floor.
