A man has been charged with drug supply after police allege they found methylamphetamine and cannabis in a shoe, during a car stop.

Officers conducted a vehicle stop on the Castlereagh Highway, about 10km south of Walgett, at 6.45pm on October 29.
Police questioned the occupants of the Holden Commodore stationwagon, during which the 31-year-old male passenger allegedly produced a backpack from the passenger footwell.
Inside, it allegedly contained cannabis leaf and other drug paraphernalia.

Officers conducted a further search of the car and the man and will allege they uncovered a quantity of methylamphetamine in the man's shoe.
The 31-year-old man was arrested and taken to Walgett police station where he was charged with two counts of supplying a prohibited drug.
He was granted conditional bail to appear before Walgett Local Court on November 12.
Police said the operation involved officers from the Walgett Criminal Investigation, the Target Action Group, Rural Crime Prevention Team and Crime Management Unit.
Central North Police Superintendent Andrew Hurst said the arrest stemmed from information provided by the community.
"The Central North Police District will continue to target the supply of prohibited drugs in our communities, and the people who are transporting drugs," he said.
"This arrest was the result of information from the community, and excellent teamwork from the various units and teams that work at the Walgett Police Station."
