Chugging around the miniature railway at the scenic Victoria Park, the little locomotive group has chipped-in for a swag of charities of the years.
But one of its biggest beneficiaries has been the Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service.

In the last three years, the miniature rail club has donated $7778 to the chopper service in Tamworth.
Chopper volunteer John Taylor said it was important to have civic minded groups in town to help keep the Westpac service in the air.
He praised the group for "taking it upon themselves" to assist the helicopter.
"It's there for everybody, whether you're in a health fund or not, it doesn't cost the patient, it's totally free and the money comes from donations and sponsorship," Mr Taylor said.
"For as long as we can continue, it'll remain free for anybody."
The chopper service will pay tribute to the club with a plaque set to be installed in honor of the ongoing connection when the trains roll-out from 10am this Sunday.
