Hundreds of people claimed a spot of turf in Bicentennial Park on a warm Saturday evening for the traditional tidings of comfort and joy, while Armidale’s pyrotechnical padre ‘Holy Smoke’ lit up the sky.
Entertainer Colin Buchanan also took to the stage to belt out a few Christmas tunes for the carolling cohort.

Despite the warm evening, people got in early for the show and got comfortable ahead of the amazing fireworks display.
This year, the Combined Churches and Lions Clubs of Tamworth have teamed up to present the evening of carols.
