The Rural Crime Prevention Team are renewing their appeal for information in relation to the unlawful killing and butchering of a cow earlier this year.
The breakthrough came after detectives received further information about the “alarming crime” in January.
On the evening of January 15, 2018, an Angus heifer was unlawfully shot on a property on Mosquito Creek Road, Pallamallawa, east of Moree.
The offenders butchered the cow and stole the carcass, leaving the other remains of the cow behind.
Rural Crime Investigators from Moree have been investigating the incident.
