Six locations across Tamworth will be targeted by a gang of volunteers armed with an arsenal of cleaning solutions and painting supplies.
A number of sponsors have donated supplies and funding for the event, including Dulux and Smart Graffiti.
Rotary member and clean-up co-ordinator Paul Ying said a number of people had express-ed interest in helping out, but there was still a need for more volunteers.
“Rotary Club of Tamworth Sunrise will be involved and Tamworth Girl Guides will also be helping with a clean-up,” Mr Ying said.
Graffiti removal is scheduled to take place at 7 Scott Rd, Grey Haunt Racing Club, the Peel River levee bank walkway and main bridge, Tamworth Girl Guide Hall and a laneway behind Edgeroi St.
People interested in assisting with the clean-up efforts are encouraged to get in contact with Paul Ying on 0422 881 490.
