Step back in time at Wallabadah. There will be heavy horse demonstrations, NSW Yard Dog Trials, Blacksmith demonstrations, Petting Zoo and activities for the kids, as well as market stalls from 8:30am. Breakfast is available Saturday and Sunday, and lunch only on Sunday.

National Motoring Heritage Day
When: Sunday, May 19 @ 10am - 11am
There will be around 80 historic cars on display at the Oxley Lookout for National Motoring Heritage Day. Vehicles will be from North West towns and the Hunter, and Central Coast as well as local cars. On Saturday, as part of the vintage car rally weekend, around 35 historic vehicles will be in Manilla between 10.30am & 11.30am while the markets will be on.

First awarded in 1921, the Archibald Prize was established following a bequest from former Art Gallery trustee and founder of The Bulletin magazine JF Archibald (1856-1919), whose aim was to foster portraiture, support artists and perpetuate the memory of great Australians.
The open competition has been awarded annually (with two exceptions: 1964 and 1980) to the best portrait, 'preferentially of some man or woman distinguished in arts, letters, science or politics, painted by any artist resident in Australasia'.
Entries to the Archibald Prize must be painted in the past year from at least one live sitting.

Community Meet & Greet

To help new residents meet and greet while learning about what our region has to offer, council is hosting a "Community Meet and Greet" on Monday, 20 May at the Tamworth Community Centre.
This event aims to facilitate new connections with community organisations, businesses and volunteer groups. And it's FREE!
Expect to meet with local community groups, organisations and council members to help learn more about the community and how you can contribute to it.
