After giving Parliament House a much needed colourful makeover, Ara was announced as the regional junior winner of the NSW school holiday colouring-in competition.
After being told Ara showed artistic talent at the very start of kinder, her achievement came as no surprise to her mother Lucy.
"We try to help Ara to express her creativity in many ways," Ms Argue said.
"We are sure that it [winning] will be a great motivation for her joyful artistic journey for the future."

Apart from the glory, Ara took home a goodie box filled with stationery and delicious treats valued at $100, to help her continue to unleash her inner artist.
Ara said she was proud of her artwork and was enjoying the delicious honey that came with her prize.
The competition was part of the virtual NSW school holiday program where Ara enjoyed online story time, Aboriginal cultural studies and a tour of Parliament House.
