AN ATTEMPTED armed robbery case has been "completely resolved" but was adjourned for a couple of days in court as a different prosecutor takes over.

Juan Augustus Sampson attended Tamworth Local Court in person on Wednesday when Aboriginal Legal Service solicitor Joseph Healy confirmed an agreement had been reached.
Max Dixon appeared for the state prosecuting authority, the DPP, and told the court the matter should be able to be adjourned on the next occasion for sentence.

But, he said he needed a short amount of time.
"I just haven't seen the relevant directions and the facts," he said.
Magistrate Lisa Stapleton agreed to relist the case on Friday.
"Bail to continue," she said.
Police alleged at the time that a teenager and his friend were walking along the footpath near Robert Street when a ute stopped and Sampson and another man got out and confronted them. Police claimed one was armed with a knife.
The teenager and friend managed to flee and alert a nearby house, according to police. Sampson was arrested and charged by Oxley police in the following days.
He has not entered a plea.
