Regardless of the current world situation, including the pandemic, wars and violence, a short walk through Peel Street proved that the care and kindness people have experienced from complete strangers is a huge part of the foundation that holds society together in these tough times.
Margaret Heemskert said that one small, common, kind gesture she has received while at the supermarket has been where people have let her go in front first when she has only had one item and they have had many.
Robert said that when he was having a rough day, Gusto Cafe gave him a free coffee and had a chat with him.
