Thursday's match in Parkes was meant to be the first time Calrossy had appeared in a final since they won 10 years ago but rain down that way meant the game didn't go ahead.
While it was nice to get the school name on the trophy, coach Shawn Mepham said it would have been better to have played the final.

"I think they're OK with it but it's a bit disappointing we didn't get to play and earn the right to be called winners," Mepham, who coaches the side with Mick Wilson, said.
"You can't control the weather and that's how cricket goes - it's dictated by the weather."
Mepham said it was still a huge effort by the side.
The coach also noted how good their sportsmanship had been throughout the tournament.
"A huge congratulations goes to the boys on the way they've conducted themselves on behalf of their school," Mepham said.
He said they'll be back next year with a similar outfit. Matt Holmes and Jack Hamilton are the only two players the school side will lose.
"Going forward we've got young fellas like Will and Tom Aitken and we've got a few handy fellas coming through so hopefully we'll be a strong cricket side for a few years to come," Mepham said.
Along with Wilson, Mepham has had Jackie Holmes along for the journey and said she was a massive help.
"When you have someone scoring it makes coaching a whole lot easier," Mepham said.
