INVESTIGATIONS into drive-by shootings in the state's north continue as police search for a second person who is alleged to have been involved in an attack on numerous homes and cars.

A 23-year-old man has been arrested and charged with the alleged shootings through Boggabilla last month where police claim shots were fired from a white Mitsubshi Magna.
Police are still searching for 19-year-old Kaylan McGrady in relation to the alleged public place shooting, who is also wanted on an outstanding warrant.
New England Police District officers responded to numerous calls about shots fired at homes and cars in the area about 3:30am on Monday, November 23.
Nobody was injured in the incident but New England Police District has set up Strike Force Deleware to investigate the shootings.
Police are asking for help from a man who they believe was in Merriwa Street at the time of the shooting.

The man is described as being Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander in appearance, aged about 20, 180cm tall with a medium build, black hair and beard and brown eyes.
Anyone who may have CCTV or dashcam footage from the area and surrounds from the early hours of November 23 is urged to contact Boggabilla Police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
