A 23-year-old man has now been charged, and the search continues for a second man, 19-year-old Kaylan McGrady, who is also wanted on an outstanding warrant.
Detectives from New England Police District established Strike Force Deleware to investigate the shooting at Boggabilla about 3.30am on Monday.
Their investigation saw them examine five crime scenes in three different streets after a drive-by shooting at each.
No one was injured in the shootings.
New England police have said they suspect the shootings were a "targeted attack".
As part of their investigations, strike force officers were patrolling Toomelah, west of Boggabilla, about 9am on Saturday when they saw one of the wanted men.
The man took off after seeing the officer and police chased him on foot for a brief stint before the captured him.
He was taken to Boggabilla Police Station where the outstanding warrant was executed, and he was charged with four counts of firing a firearm at a house with disregard for safety.
He was refused bail and will appear in Tamworth Local Court this week.
Meanwhile, the search continues to locate Kaylan McGrady, 19, who is the second man wanted on an outstanding warrant.
