"Lex normally focuses his horses on Menangle and Bathurst and as the relationship has grown, we have picked up a couple of nice horses that are suited to racing here," said Hetherington after the training double.
Both Listen to Lexy and Lexy Moo will be competing at the Tamworth meeting on Thursday afternoon - and with slightly wider draws than their last starts.
Leigh Sutton handled the reins behind both Listen To Lexy and Lexie Moo in their Tamworth wins and has been booked to take the reins again on Thursday.
Last week at Tamworth, Sutton steered Listen To Lexy to an all-the-way win in the Australia Pacing Gold Pace (1609m), with a winning margin of 2.9m over Thebigbadwolf (Anthony Varga). ilwaukee Sunrise (Mitch Chapple) was another 2.3, away in third place.
It was Listen To Lexy's first start since finishing sixth to Merrywood Lynn (1min 55.3sec mile rate) in the $50,000 Cobbitty Equine Farm NSWBC True Blue Series 2-year-old fillies Group 2 race at Menangle on October 31.
"She has done her job so far," Sutton said. "She went really good in Sydney a couple of weeks ago and it probably helps the country horses when they come back from the big tracks - it makes them a lot sharper.
"So she has taken a lot of benefit from the Sydney run."
Listen To Lexy has drawn barrier five for the Club Contribution-Mal Trudgett Pace on Thursday.
Lexy Moo, who picked up her first career win in taking out the NSWSOA.com.au Pace (1980m) last week, has drawn barrier seven in the North West Contribution-Peter Shepherdson Pace (1609m).
"She is not the easiest horse to drive," said Sutton. "Jarred has done a pretty good job with her but she has got her traits.
"There is a future for her around Tamworth," added Sutton of the Sportswriter-Lexy Lobell three-year-old. "She will win her fair share of races and Lex is having a fair bit of fun with both horses."
