Producing a winning margin of 6.9 metres over Heavenly Song (Madi Young), with Christian Shannon (Blake Hughes) 1.9 metres away third, Capital Cullect had to overcome a couple of false starts before the race even commenced.
As the field shaped up for the initial start the mobile lost power, effecting the start. As a result the majority of the field were severely checked. Fortunately no horses were injured and all were passed fit to race.

"Once we found the lead, I was pretty confident," said reinsman Dean Chapple who took charge of the race with the Gotta Go Cullect-Washingtonseymour mare.
"We had one plan to lead or hold the outside as she is a pretty tough mare."
He had driven the mare, who now has six wins in her form guide from 72 race starts for Narrabri trainer Peter Shepherdson, when she won her first race back in 2018
"She is a front running horse and she likes the lead. We did cop a bit of pressure but that didn't worry her," Chapple said.
From the four barrier Chapple went straight to the lead and endured race pressure from Christian Shannon (Blake Hughes) with the lead time in 24.8 seconds.
"We were thankful that we got a breather in the middle of the race but she did run away from them," he said.
"My experience is usually if they run like that in the first lead time, they don't usually get home but to her credit she did and won comfortably."
Meanwhile Millers Forrest reinsman Andrew Bourke enjoyed driving his own pacer - Mammals Destiny - to a win in the Join The NSWSOA Pace- with the five year old mare now trained in Tamworth by Tony Missen.
"She (Mammals Destiny) went great," Bourke said after the win.
"I brought her up to Tony a few weeks ago to train her and he has obviously done a good job with the mare."
"I own her so I knew her very well before the race and hopefully there are a few more wins to come."
Bourke has owned and raced the Western Terror-Mammals Mate mare for just over twelve months and although producing plenty of minor placings, the win was full of merit.
"She has got a lot of gate speed and I knew she would be competitive if she drew the front line and that's what happened today - we drew the front and she got the chocolates," he said.
Mammals Destiny secured a 6.3m win over Roll With Annie (Jake Hughes) with Tralee Chic (Anthony Varga) a neck away third with an all the way win from the three barrier.
"She has always been a nice horse to drive and to drive a winner for myself is awesome. She is actually the first and only horse that I have owned and my first win with her as well," Bourke added.
