The 16 year-old was hospitalised after a farming accident on Saturday morning.
He was injured after being entangled in farming equipment at a property at Piallamore.
The Westpac helicopter was called to help the teen after 11am.
The helicopter aircraft critical care paramedic and doctor treated the young man at the scene before he was transported to Tamworth Rural Referral Hospital by road ambulance.
He suffered leg fractures and lacerations in the accident, the helicopter service said.
On Sunday the helicopter was called to aid a 14 year-old-boy, after he was injured in a motorcycle crash near Quirindi.
The helicopter was called to a property at Colley Blue, north west of the town, at about 10am.
The young man was airlifted to the Tamworth Rural Referral Hospital suffering from a head injury, but was assessed as in a stable condition, the helicopter service said.
