General Manager Operations, Michael Wells, presented Michael Robinson from the Tamworth Rural Fire Service with a $23,000 cheque on Friday.
"Like Australians everywhere, our hearts went out to everyone impacted by the bushfires," Mr Wells said.
"It's even more devastating when you see your own community hurting like we have.
"We are forever grateful to all our firefighters for working so tirelessly and heroically this summer and are so pleased we can contribute in this way to their local bushfire relief efforts."
