Tamworth LALC cheif executive officer Fiona Snape said the singer's commitment to community in the region could "change the course" of young people's lives.
"Isaiah is a great inspiration to our Aboriginal community, especially our youth," Ms Snape said.
"Isaiah's free performance and talk shows his commitment to our community and to inspiring the next generation of young leaders and performers with his messages of 'don't be shame', 'be confident' and 'keep you're eyes on the prize'."
The young performer put on a mini-concert at The Youthie and spoke about his journey telling the audience the key to success was setting goals.
He said even when you're in school it doesn't matter the colour of your skin or your family circumstances you could follow your dreams.
He said, at times, it was hard work and he could have thrown the towel in but he kept going and was now doing what he loved.
The Tamworth LALC hoped it could build on its partnership with Mr Firebrace and the positive effect it was having on the community.
"We recognise that role models like Isaiah can change the course of a young person's life, and with the right support such as the Opportunity Hub Futures Mentors we are able to shape a positive future for our youth," Ms Snape said.
Mr Firebrace was invited to do a workshop at Binaalbaa Aboriginal Learning Centre at Tamworth TAFE last year.
A Yorta Yorta-Gunditjmara man from Moama on the NSW-Victoria border, the singer said he'd done these workshops in a number of places and enjoyed "connecting with people on a more personal level".
Mr Firebrace shot to fame in 2016 when he was crowned the winner of The X-Factor Australia following this win he was selected to represent Australia at Eurovision in 2017.
He formed a strong partnership with the Tamworth Aboriginal community in 2019 when he was a feature performer at the Aboriginal Cultural Showcase.
The singer's 'Spirit and Beyond' tour will visit a number of regional communities where he be sharing his "no shame" message to kids.
