This week is National Landcare Week, celebrating the hard work of the group's green-nosed volunteers.
The organisation, which has a dozen sub-groups and about 70 members, has run its green thumbs all over the region, from rejuvenating the banks of the Peel River to planting bush tucker.

Anne Michie runs the group's nursery, where native species are nurtured before being planted at various projects.
"All our plants are grown from seeds collected in the local area, so that plants have the characteristics needed to survive here," Ms Michie said.
"We're also working on another project to bring in seeds from further west, as a proactive approach to climate change.
"In about 50 years, our climate will be more like that of Moree's, so we want to be prepared for that."
On Thursday, Tamworth Landcare will hold a seed propagation and seedling care workshop at its nursery on Wallamore Road from 8.30am to 2pm, and the community is encouraged to come along.
"We're always looking for anyone who wants to join in," Ms Mitchie said.
"It's not all hard work. We've got people who are avid bird watchers, others who collect rocks. There is a really broad base of knowledge and people are happy to share their passion.
"We're very inclusive and what your passion is, we're more than happy to include."
