Councillors will be asked to vote on a slew of water wise advertising measures which would hit the region's screens, speakers and coffee cups after level five restrictions come into effect.
While the majority of the funding tranche would go towards traditional advertising streams, including television, radio, print and social media, the council has brewed up some new ideas as well.

If the marketing scheme gets the green light from the councillors, $2660 will go towards advertising on 10,000 disposable coffee cups.
"Coffee cups printed with water conservation messaging have been included as they can act as a miniature billboard and are an everyday item that are seen by a large number of people," sustainability coordinator Tracey Carr said in her report.
"The cups would be provided to cafes for free at the introduction of level five restrictions with more cups being purchased and distributed during Tamworth Country Music Festival to reach festival visitors."
Takeaway coffee cups can be recycled within the Tamworth region.
The council wants people to limit their personal water use to 150 litres a day under level five restrictions.
The council will vote on a new community drought engagement plan at Tuesday's meeting as well.
"The marketing activities identified in the plan will provide detail to demonstrate what 150 litres per person per day looks like, focusing on essential indoor water use; kitchen, laundry and bathroom, as well as wide reaching general awareness communications," the report said.
