THREE alleged members of an Armidale drug ring faced Magistrate Michael Holmes in court on Wednesday.

James Faulkner wasn't required in Armidale Local Court but appeared via audio visual link to see his family who sat in the gallery in support.
The 28-year-old is accused of negotiating the supply of an unregistered .22 calibre pistol at the end of September last year.
He faces a string of other drug supply charges for cocaine, MDA, MDMA and cannabis and has remained in custody since his arrest.
His matters were adjourned while police prepare a certificate that outlines the charges they plan to proceed to sentence with.
Police allege between November and December, Armidale co-accused James Faulkner supplied 1829.44 grams of MDMA on three or more occasions.
The alleged drug ring was busted by Strike Force Janian, one of the district's largest police investigations that saw three properties stormed in Armidale on December 21.
One of the homes entered by police belonged to 25-year-old co-accused Alice Snyder, who appeared in black suit in court.
The prosecution are in negotiations with Snyder's defence solicitor about the charges going forward, the court heard.
Her case will return to court in July to determine how those charges have progressed.
No pleas have been entered in either of the three accused's cases.
One of the alleged ringleaders of the group Shannon Wylie, 22, remains in custody on five charges for the sexual assault of a 14-year-old girl and 27 separate drug charges, including one for the supply of a prohibited drug to a child.
Police claim Wylie directed the criminal group and supplied more than 1500 MDMA pills on one occasion.
Defence solicitor Michael Dennis appeared on behalf of Wylie on Wednesday.
The court heard Wylie be required to attend court via audio visual link in August where its expected his charges will be certified.
While New England Police District raided the Schaefer and Kennedy Street homes, as well as another in Uralla, and one business, officers in Coffs Harbour stormed at least eight houses and one storage unit.
There are a number of co-accused in the matter, including a 52-year-old man from Uralla and Shannon Wylie's 25-year-old brother Sterling Wylie.

Detectives allege she took part in the supply of 240g of MDMA between August 30 and 31, last year, in Armidale.
Strike Force Janian stormed the three properties on December 21 last year and allegedly seized cash, ecstasy pills, MDMA and cocaine in the operation.
It was one of the largest police drug busts by New England and Coffs Harbour police and the investigation spanned 16 months.
