Elise Yeo was given a flash mob send-off at Tamworth airport recently as she set-off en route back to her home in Singapore.
Line-dancing was a big part of of Ms Yeo’s three-and-a-half years in Tamworth helping her find friends and a community in her foreign home.

“Elise loved the dancing and joined in everything that was going on- the demonstrations we did for aged care and all the line dancing socials we attended in Tamworth, Gunnedah, Manilla and Curlewis,” Therese Nicol said.
“She also got involved in teaching English conversation at the public library to multicultural participants.
“Elise made so many friends in Tamworth and surrounding areas and so many people came to the airport to say farewell you would have thought she was a celebrity she was a very well respected and much loved by so many and we are going to miss her.”
