Christmas Carols by Candlelight and Christmas in Quirindi are just around the corner.
The carols will be held on Sunday at the Quirindi Rural Heritage Village, will locals set-up chairs and picnic rugs for an evening of song under the stars.
From 6.30pm, the hungry hordes can snap up a sausage sanga, with carols to follow at 7.30pm.
The annual event will be hosted by the Quirindi Ministers Fraternal and led by Harvest Church. The guest speaker will be Paul Foster from St Alban's Anglican Church, Quirindi.

Harvest Church’s Wayne Nichols said the carols event reminded the community of its Christian heritage and how people came to celebrate the birth of Jesus as recorded in the Bible.
“I value our Christmas carols every year,” Mr Nichols said.
“They remind us that there is hope in the birth of Jesus.”
Mr Nichols said Carols by Candlelight was a good opportunity to catch up with friends and neighbours.
“It brings us together as a community,” he said.
“It’s something for the whole family.”
Less than a week later on December 14, Christmas in Quirindi will be hosted by the Liverpool Plains Business Chamber from 4.30pm.
George Street will be closed to traffic and set-out with stalls displaying giftware, crafts, baby clothes, woodwork and much more. Community groups will also be involved and Harvest Church will set-up a kids station with games, a jumping castle and face painting.
Mr Nichols said Harvest had been involved each year because “we see it as a way of serving our community”.
Last year more than 400 locals turned out for the Christmas event, which is returning for the second consecutive year after a break of five years from 2011-16. This is the first year it will be run as a twilight event.
