The usually forward thinking Cr Russell Webb has taken an unthinking position on solar panels for the ALEC roof and with that motion pushed the usually progressive Tamworth Regional Council back into the dark ages.
There are more jobs in the installation and maintenance of alternative energy generation the ever were available in mechanised underground or open cut coal mining.
Then there is the on-going climate change problems from coal,as well as water supply to inhibit coal dust during a drought period.
