Tamworth's Edwina Sharrock lands Janine Allas on Shark Tank

Edwina Sharrock landed a whopping $200,000 deal after appearing on Channel Ten’s Shark Tank on Monday night.

The Birth Beat boss caught the attention of Boost Juice founder Janine Allis, who she hopes can take her maternity and midwife based tech startup to the next level.

“It is an incredible opportunity,” Mrs Sharrock said.

“Janine is going to really help with my digital marketing strategy and plans to advertise on a national scale for national exposure.”

That exposure has already been paying off before the show as even aired, with Birth Beat’s social media channels running hot, while Mrs Sharrock has been getting contacted by women all over Australia.

On Wednesday morning Mrs Sharrock is being interviewed by Bianca Dye on Brisbane radio, and has grand plans for further national exposure in the future after recently penning a deal with healthcare giants HCF.

“I am so proud that Birth Beat was started in Tamworth just through word of mouth – that community support is amazing,” she said.

“I can’t wait to get back in town for the Business Awards on Friday.”
