Following the NSW government's decision last week to ban community sport until 80 per cent of the population is fully vaccinated, it has emerged that club bowls can resume.
In a statement on Monday, Bowls NSW said clubs located in non-lockdown areas could resume internal club competitions, social bowls and roll-ups.

A maximum of 20 people are allowed on a green at a time, while a maximum of 50 people are allow on premises at a time.
Most of the New England North West came out of lockdown on Saturday, when bowling clubs in non-lockdown areas reopened but only staged roll-ups.
On Monday, Bowls NSW said "the licensed premises must be open for greens to be open".
Zone 3 president Ian Bannister said the reopening of greens was "good news" because clubs had "struggled" through the lockdown.
"I moved out to Manilla to play and we're having our first [post-lockdown] competition this weekend," he said.
