On the agenda this evening, the recent drought put untold pressure on the local community, business and agricultural industry.
The public don't have to look far to find anecdotal evidence of just how much the drought devastated the region, but the local council now wants to quantify the impact.
Councillors will vote tonight on whether there's value in requesting formal quotes for a drought economic impact study that it hopes will provide backing to lobby for greater water security and improve the response in future droughts.
Closer to kerbside, some residents have done a rubbish effort of recycling and the council will decide whether to remove their yellow and green bins to avoid contamination of entire garbage trucks.
