A 34-year-old man has been charged with 16 offences after police claim they seized weapons, drugs and $15,000 cash in a raid in the north west region on Friday.

Police executed a search warrant at a home on the Newell Highway at Edgeroi about 10am on Friday.
During the raid, Oxley police claim they seized a Colt 9MM Luger pistol, ammunition, cannabis, methamphetamine, and more than $15 000 in cash.

Shannon Sokol was arrested at the home after the raid and taken to Narrabri Police Station, where he was charged with weapons and drugs offences.
Sokol was refused bail on the charges in Tamworth Local Court on Saturday and will spend the weekend behind bars.
Police charged him with three counts of possessing a prohibited drug; two counts possess unauthorised pistol; possession of an unregistered firearm namely a pistol; not keep firearm safely; possess ammunition without a licence; deal with proceeds of crime under $100,000 and supply prohibited drug of an indictable and commercial quantity.
He also faces charges for the supply of a commercial and indictable quantity of cannabis; cultivating a prohibited plant in a small quantity and possession of an unregistered firearm.
He was also charged with giving a firearm to a person without a licence; supplying ammunition to an unauthorised person and goods suspected stolen on the premises.
He will appear on the charges in the Moree Local Court on Monday, August 16.
If convicted, Sokol could face a maximum penalty of 20 years imprisonment and a fine of $385,000 for supplying a prohibited drug in commercial quantity.
He could also be sentenced to 10 years' jail and fined $2,200 for supplying a commercial quantity of cannabis, if found guilty of the alleged offence.
He has not entered pleas to any of the charges.
