Business Chamber President Steph Cameron said the event had to be postponed due to COVID-19
"Putting the needs of our community first, we decided to postpone the State of the State luncheon with a date to be decided, in three to four weeks," she said.
"The decision was made in light of the unfolding COVID cluster involving the state parliament and the Delta [coronavirus] variant."

Tamworth MP Kevin Anderson was to update the city's business community about this week's state budget.
Instead, he is spending a fortnight in quarantine, after becoming a casual coronavirus contact.
Mrs Cameron said the event will be rescheduled for a date in about three or four weeks time, once Mr Anderson is available.
She said Tamworth business owners would be interested to hear what the MP is doing on their behalf in Macquarie Street.
"I think they'll be interested in what are the big projects for the region, how are we going to find people to put in jobs, especially tradesmen, which are in short supply," she said.
The Business Chamber held a State of the City event with local government figures, and will hold a State of the Nation event later this year.
