Half Mitchell Henderson leads the list of unavailabilities for Farrer's round one fixture against Patrician Brothers Fairfield.
"We've had a few injury concerns and we'll be missing Mitch Henderson who's on country duty," Farrer manager John Lesslie said.
"There was a couple concussions and corks. We're quite depleted but we'll be right. We're relying on a few young blokes to step up."

Ethan Antzakles will play in the halves and captain the side in the round one match.
Farrer is in pool C alongside Patrician Brothers Fairfield, All Saints College and Holy Cross College.
Each team plays each other once in a fight for a spot in the finals.
"It's not sudden death but it's pretty important to finish on top of your pool," Lesslie said.
The match starts at 11am at Farrer Memorial Agricultural High School.
