Tamworth reinsman Tom Ison has notched up win No 300 at the Tamworth harness meeting.
He achieved the feat behind the Ty Robson-trained Yarraman's Shadow.
The young reinsman - who moved back to Tamworth in order to obtain his trainer's licence - started his driving career in 2013. He has had 1,777 drives.
"I do a lot of travelling but it is all worth it," Ison said after the win on Thursday afternoon.
Coming into the Tamworth meeting, Ison was sitting on 299 wins after success at Newcastle the previous week behind the Richard Williams-trained A Good Ideal.
He described the 300th win as "a special moment". "I have been waiting for it for a while."
Yarraman's Shadow - trained by Robson at Stubbo near Gulgong - produced a big run to take out the Sky Racing Active Pace after racing four back on the outside running line. It was his first win in his third career start.
"Ty said the horse goes good but has a few little tricks," Ison said. "But he went well today."
