Two people were home inside when the Allingham Street home erupted in flames about 12.45am on Sunday.

Investigations then led police to Kain who was arrested at a hotel on Marsh Street in Armidale at about 12.20pm on Sunday.
He was taken to Armidale Police Station for questioning and later charged with arson.
He spent the night in custody before Monday's court appearance and is now in the custody of Corrective Services NSW.
Investigations into the fire are continuing, police said.
