The city's Proactive Crime Team (PCT) used a search warrant to raid a Diane Street home in South Tamworth this week.
Inside, they claim they uncovered a quantity of prohibited drugs, as well as cash and mobile phones. All were seized.
A 39-year-old was arrested at the location and taken to Tamworth Police Station for questioning.

He's since been charged with supplying drugs, goods in custody and dealing with the proceeds of crime.
Police allege the man was dealing drugs in Tamworth, and the cash was the proceeds of the sales. He's been granted conditional bail to front Tamworth Local Court at a later date.
The drugs and phones have been seized for forensic analysis, officers confirmed.
It was one of two raids in as many days. About 12pm on Wednesday, police scoured a Cole Road home as part on an ongoing investigation.
Officers said a small quantity of cannabis was seized, but no charges have been laid.
Investigations are continuing into both raids, police said.
"These raids are part of ongoing investigations and we will continue to put pressure on those individuals who we suspect are involving in criminal activity," Oxley Detective Acting Inspector Jason Darcy said.
"We have numerous police working as part of Operation Southbreak to stem property crime but we know drug supply and drug-related offences fuel property crime so police will continue to stamp out drugs in our community.
"We will not hesitate to move on anyone involved in the drug trade because that sort of activity won't be tolerated in the Oxley Police District."
