EMERGENCY services rushed to the scene of a two-car crash in Tamworth in the midst of the morning school-run on Tuesday.

At least five ambulances were sent to the scene after reports two cars collided at the intersection of Napier Street and Darling Street, shortly before 8:30am.
Crews, as well as police and firefighters, arrived on scene to find two four-wheel-drives had collided, partially blocking the road.
"We were called just before 8:30am this morning and dispatched five crews to the scene after reports of a two-car accident," a NSW Ambulance spokeswoman said.
"One person will be taken to hospital, the other has been assessed and doesn't need to go to hospital."

The injured patient was taken to Tamworth hospital and is believed to be in a stable condition.
The spokeswoman said the driver was suffering what appeared to be minor injuries, but paramedics were unable to confirm.
The cause of the crash is being investigated.
