They scored a big 146-run win at No. 1 Oval after batting first in the over 65s match.
"We held them for probably 18 overs where we bowled alright," Tamworth's Tom Kellett said.
"Then in one over, one bloke got 18-20 runs and that was the end that."

That was Mark Burgess who top-scored and was one of six Quirindi batsmen to retire on the way to 3-213 from 40 overs.
Kellett led the way for the home side with 15 runs as Tamworth finished at 8-67.
Peter Jenkins was Quirindi's leading wicket taker with 3-10.
Despite the loss, Kellett said it was good to have a hit-out.
"On February 15-16, the 65s have a two-day carnival in Newcastle and the 70s have state champs at the end of the month," he said.
"It's still good practice. There's nothing better than getting out on the field."
There's plenty of cricket on the horizon for the vets. A big one to mark on the calendar is the State of Origin at the end of March.
